Paul + Mildrine - Willowdale Estate

Paul + Mildrine Wedding Trailer from Hindsight Wedding Films on Vimeo.

We arrived at the GORGEOUS Willowdale Estate on an equally gorgeous August day. This might just be our favorite venue to film a wedding at; it's mine (Nikki's) anyway. In this 1901 Mansion, the interior is of the Arts & Crafts movement, and the gardens outside are exquisite. The gardens that surround the site for the outdoor ceremony are so lovely, and the reception tent is directly behind. With all of the equipment that we bring to a wedding, moving it from one location to another is a logistical reality most of the time, but here,   this was not an issue.

We were moved to see the parents of both the bride and the groom sing to the couple during the ceremony. So much of the day was in Creole, including this song. We didn't know exactly what was being sung...but it didn't really matter; it was beautiful and it came with joy from their hearts. Their first dance was unlike any other we've seen, and in this trailer you can get a feel for what it was like. Such flirts they were with each other; love it! We had a blast and loved everyone we were blessed to meet at this wedding.

A big thanks to Bharat Parmar (the photographer) for recommending us to Mildrine! The florist did a wonderful job adding to the floral beauty of the Estate with her very talented work. We see the lighting guy at work (Gateway Productions/Boston Lighting) during set-up. Very nice guy; they did a great job! Jacques Pastries was at it again with the cake. Unfortunately, it isn't featured in this trailer, but trust me...his work is always amazing! DJ SuperDuke (yes, that really is his professional name) was phenomenal! He really lived up to the hype of his name - and such a down-to-earth nice guy as well! Hope we work with him again! The whole night ended with the sparkler exit. We know how excited Mildrine was for this moment and we were so glad to be able to capture that for her. This was a really fun day for us. Sometimes it can be really hard deciding what not to put in a short trailer like this - we got so much great stuff!
